Driver Fleeing Police Causes Three-Car Collision and Escapes

According to news reports, it is currently unclear why police were chasing the vehicle at the time of the accident.

 

November 26, 2018 – 4:00 pm: At least one person has been hospitalized after a three-car collision involving a driver who was fleeing police at the time of the crash. Police have not released any information as to why they were pursuing the vehicle in question.

The accident took place near the 7000 block of TC Jester Blvd.

According to one of the drivers the vehicle hit, “He bounced off me and went into oncoming traffic and hit a woman head-on.” According to the man, he’d originally thought there was only one person in the suspect’s car, but he later heard there may have been two people on board.

Police have not commented on how many suspects there are in this case.

The driver of the vehicle police were pursuing escaped the scene and has managed to evade police up to this point.

The injured individual has not been identified at this time, and the identity of the suspect involved in the crash is also unavailable. Police are actively searching for the driver, and the accident is still under investigation.
