Motorcyclist Found Dead by His Friends

News reports state that the dead man’s friends went looking for him after he left their home and failed to let them know he got home safely.

September 29, 2018 – 3:00 am: A man was found dead off the side of the road early Saturday morning after leaving his friends’ place and failing to let them know he had gotten home safely.

The man was found dead in the woods off of Barker Cypress, near Morton in Harris County.

He was spending the evening with his friends, and he left thereafter. The friends report that they went looking for him at around 3:00 AM when the man didn’t contact them to let them know he got home safely.

They found him in the woods off the side of the road, spotting him because of the light from his motorcycle.

Police say the man was in his 20s and he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. They also report that the motorcyclist was speeding at the time the accident occurred. The motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle, hitting the curb and speeding into the woods.

Harris County Police have not yet released the man’s identity.
