Our client suffered to his neck and back due to a motor vehicle collision caused by a distracted driver. Our client proceeded though an intersection on a green light when the adverse driver ran the red light and failed to yield the right of way as she made a left-hand turn, causing the collision to occur. After months of physical therapy and pain management treatment, surgery was recommended \u2013 but our client decided to not undergo surgery given the risks. The third-party carrier disputed liability and placed some fault on our client. After filing a lawsuit, we obtained third party policy limits and settled with the UIM carrier for over twice their initial offer. <\/p>
