Motorcyclist Killed in West Houston Crash

According to news reports, the motorcyclist was speeding when he hit an SUV that had pulled out into the road early Sunday morning.

 

November 25, 2018 – 3:15 am: An unidentified motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash with a Honda SUV early on Sunday morning.

The accident took place on Westheimer, near Stoney Brook in west Houston, just outside of the McDonald’s parking lot.

The unidentified motorcyclist, who was 22 years old according to authorities, was weaving through traffic at high speeds when he hit the SUV while it was pulling out of the McDonald’s parking lot. The SUV was making a left turn, and the biker hit the driver-side back door of the SUV in the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died in the hospital.

There were two people in the SUV at the time of the crash, but the man and woman were not hurt. According to police, no charges are expected to be filed in this case.

Police are expected to release the identity of the man killed in the accident after they have notified his next of kin. The Houston Police Department is still investigating the crash.
