One Dead in West Houston Hit-and-Run Crash

According to news reports, the two-vehicle accident took place early on Thursday morning, but the cause of the crash is unclear at this time.

 

January 24, 2019 – 4:30 am: One man is dead after a two-vehicle accident that took place in West Houston early on Thursday morning. The driver responsible for the crash fled the scene, and police are currently searching for that driver.

The accident took place near the intersection of Town Park and Ranchester. No details on the cause of the crash or the circumstances leading up to it are available at this time.

Video recordings show that a gray car hit a white sedan, causing the sedan to roll over as a result of the crash. The driver of the gray car fled the scene.

Police confirm that one man died in the crash, although it is not clear whether this man was the driver or the passenger of the vehicle.

Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the hit-and-run, although they are not able to give any description of the vehicle or the driver they are looking for. When found, the driver is likely to face charges for failure to stop and render aid.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
