School Bus Crash on Bertrand in Northeast Houston

According to news reports, the bus collided with a pickup truck while headed to Aldine ISD school on Tuesday morning.

 

November 27, 2018 – 6:30 am: A bus collided with a pickup truck on Bertrand, near Task in northeast Houston on Tuesday morning. At this time there is no word on whether or not there were any injuries in the crash, although we are told that students were on board at the time.

The accident happened at the 2800 block of Bertand. Several police vehicles arrived on the scene shortly after the crash.

There were several students on the bus at the time of the accident, but at this time there is no word on whether any of the students, the school bus driver, or the driver of the pickup truck were injured in the accident.

The bus was headed for Aldine ISD when the crash happened. Police have not released any information on the cause of the crash.

Traffic was slowed along Bertrand for some time after the crash, and at least one other school bus was delayed by the incident. Police are still investigating into the causes of the crash. No other details are available at this time.
