Six Injuries in Collision Between 18-Wheeler and Commuter Train

According to news reports, the accident took place early on Wednesday morning and caused only minor injuries.

November 21, 2018 – 6:00 am: Six people sustained minor injuries when a commuter train hit a big rig in Fort Worth shortly before dawn on Wednesday morning.

The accident took place when the railroad crossing arms hit the truck, spinning it slightly and making it unable to pull away from the oncoming train. The driver was not harmed in the crash.

The train was on the way to Dallas when it hit the truck. There were two Trinity Railway Express employees on the train, along with four passengers. The six people on board were all slightly injured in the accident.

The identities of the driver and the individuals who were injured have not been made public at this time.

The force of the impact turned the tanker on its side. The truck was carrying a load of liquid asphalt. Fortunately, there was no spill. The scene of the accident was cleaned up and back in order later on Wednesday morning.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. The accident is still under investigation.
