Two Women Injured in Late-Night San Antonio Crash

According to news reports, one vehicle ran a red light, leading to the crash that injured the two women.

 

November 18, 2018 – 10:30 pm: Two women were injured in a late-night crash in San Antonio that took place between a sedan and a black truck on Sunday.

The accident happened at the intersection of East Houston Street and North Hackberry Street in the East Side of San Antonio.

According to San Antonio police, the woman in the sedan ran a red light, hitting the truck in the intersection. The woman in the car was trapped in her vehicle and had to be cut out by firefighters after they arrived.

Both women were injured in the crash and taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center. Their conditions have not been made public at this time, but according to news reports they are both expected to recover.

The identities of the women involved in the crash have not been made public at this time.

The accident is still under investigation. Police are not certain at this time why the woman driving the car ran the red light, leading to the collision. No charges have been filed at this time.
