November 20, 2018 – 12:15 am: An unidentified man and woman were injured in an accident that took place shortly after midnight Tuesday morning.
The accident took place near the intersection of Town Park Drive and Ranchester Drive. For unknown reasons, the driver of the vehicle lost control of the car, causing it to go airborne, flip over, and land on the patio of an apartment complex.
The car hit the cinder block wall of one of the apartments, but did not go through the wall. None of the residents of the apartment complex were injured in the accident.
The man and woman were both taken to the hospital for treatment, but their injuries are reportedly minor. Police are investigating to determine who was driving at the time of the crash and whether alcohol was a contributing factor. However, authorities have reported that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
The accident is still being investigated. Police have not commented on the cause of the accident, and no charges have been filed at this time.
