Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Hit-And-Run Accident

According to news reports, Killeen police are currently looking for Larry Pervin Kidd, Jr., seeking to charge him for failure to stop and render aid.

 

December 19, 2018 – 5:02 pm: Two people were injured in a crash that took place in Killeen last Wednesday afternoon. There were three vehicles in the crash, and the driver of the third vehicle is currently being sought by the Killeen Police Department for failure to stop and render aid.

The crash took place at the intersection of Chantz Drive and Stan Schlueter Loop.

According to Killeen Police, the driver of the third vehicle caused the crash. Larry Pervin Kidd, Jr., caused the crash after he didn’t yield the right of way to a vehicle exiting a private drive. Anyone with information on Kidd’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Killeen Police Department at 254-526-8477 or file a report on their website.

Both of the drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the crash were seriously injured. They were both taken to Baylor Scott and White Hospital, in Temple, for treatment of their wounds.

The crash is still under investigation, and the warrant for Kidd’s arrest was issued on the afternoon of Thursday, December 27.
