Two-Vehicle Accident Kills One on Sunday Morning

According to news reports, the cause of the accident is still unclear at this time.

 

January 6, 2019 – 10:00 am: One unidentified individual was killed in a crash that took place in southwest Houston on Sunday morning. The causes of the wreck are unclear at the present time.

The crash took place on the 8900 block of Bissonnet. A red Toyota Camry and a black Honda Civic crashed at the time, although details about the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been made available.

Photographs of the accident appear to indicate that the Camry hit the passenger’s side of the Civic. Serious damage was done to the front of the Camry, and the Civic’s passenger door was thrust into the vehicle.

Smoke was coming from the Civic by the time police arrived on the scene. The driver of the Civic was found in the back seat of the vehicle, and was not moving. The Civic’s driver was taken to the hospital.

There is no word on whether the person who died in the crash was the driver of the Civic, the driver of the Camry, or a passenger in one of the two vehicles. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
