Woman’s Body Found in Milby Park

News reports state that the woman’s body was found floating in a bayou by a man who was walking his dog.

 

December 26, 2018 – 11:30 am: A man walking his dog in Milby Park found a woman’s body floating in a bayou on Wednesday morning.

The man reported finding the body sometime around 11:30 a.m. Houston Police arrived on the scene shortly afterward, working to identify the woman and investigate the cause of death.

At this point, the identity of the woman has not been made public, and Houston Police have not stated whether they have successfully identified her or not.

The cause of death has not been released at this time, either. The woman’s death may have been an accident, or there may have been signs of foul play on the scene. It is likely that the woman’s body will be taken in for examination and that her identity and cause of death will be released after an investigation takes place.

At this point, police have not commented on the cause of death. Whether or not the search for the woman’s cause of death will remain a criminal investigation is not known at this time.
